Wife was scheduled for day surgery, Surgicare called to say we owed $300 deductable in addition to 10% copay before she could be admitted. We just met our deductable but it hasn't shown up on our insurance yet. Surgicare refused to admit her without the copay. I told them to cancel the appointment, as I refuse to pay the deductable twice and then have to fight to get the $300 overpayment refunded. I would advise avoiding this place like the swine flu, they are a perfect example of why people hate the healthcare industry.

• Cons: Money hungry.
