In Short – With so many area outlets offering tacos, enchiladas and burritos, few seem to stand out like Mamacita's does. The menu offers many of the same standard items offered elsewhere but it also has some more traditional dishes from Mexico's Yucatan region, which gives diners a chance to sample something new. The dining room is loud at peak times, but the covered patio is generally less busy and more relaxing.

I love the Cozumel combination plate here, served with a cheese enchilada, taco al carbon, cheese tostada, beens, rice and guacamole. The shrimp enchiladas are also delicious. Service is prompt, prices are reasononable, and they serve homemade tortillas with your order. This is one of the best mexican restaurants in the Houston and Clear Lake area.

This used to be our favorite place to eat. We were Friday night regulars. In the past few years, service has really gone down hill. We miss the friendly and fun staff. There seems to be too much emphasis on making a quick dollar and turning tables. As for coupons, they've always been difficult with accepting them, even the ones they advertise in the church bulletin. We also don't like the fact that they only reserve the porch seating for large groups, that was always our favorite place to sit with our kids.

A great find!!

We decided to give this place a try after recent decline in service at our regular Mexican spot, and wow we are so glad we did. The food is excellent and the service is consistent and attentive! Now we have to stop going several times in ONE WEEK! Quality food and great service here!! Nice authentic Mexican atmosphere and decor!
