A great place to eat even when we visited from out of town. I use to visit Tookies at least once a month, when I lived in Texas City for many years when I had the money. Then when I relocate to Las Vegas, where I am now, every time we returned to the area we made it our main point to eat at Tookies when we were there. Now saddly, Tookies is no more. I would give anything to at least be able to have the receipe for the #99, I do not own a resturant, or know anyone who owns one, so I would not sell the receipe. I have tried to duplicate it but can't seem to come up with it. I have one of their menus and a last reciept from when we visited, but nothing like their food, alas Tookies will be miss by many.
