This Place Should Be Shut Down!!!!

I would not recommend that you go to this bowling alley unless you want to be treated like you're a criminal. I am 26 years old, I use words like "crud," "shoot," or "doggonit" and somehow, through no fault of my own or anyone with me got kicked out for breaking "Rule 11 - no foul language." Not to mention, we also supposedly had 2, 8 lb. bowling-balls in our lane which is also apparently breaking a rule. After explaining that we only had one light bowling-ball that the little boy in the next lane was using, our group was accused of stealing personal bowling-balls from other lanes - a ridiculous accusation that has no merit whatsoever. I give this place a poor, one-star rating, when in fact I shouldn't give them any stars at all - they should be shut down.

Avoid at all costs!

Me and 5 of my friends went here tonight. First off it was league night so we had to wait for them to be done before we could bowl. League was done at 10 and they close at 11 so we had to hurry, no big deal. We go to the snack bar to get some beer and the lady at the front desk gave us a really hard time about our ID's. Saying the girls ID's didn't match their faces. WE ARE ALMOST 30! It was ridiculous! So we start bowling and some of the girls want a lighter ball so we try to find one. They are all behind the front desk and the desk lady really did not want us to have one. She gave us one after much hesitation and a little while into bowling the little boy in the lane next to us took it. No big deal, I go to the desk to get another and the lady DID NOT want me to have it. Only one light ball per lane she says. No big deal I say, the boy took ours, I point to him using our ball and she reluctantly hands me another. Minutes later she closes our lane. She says we are taking b alls from other lanes(not true) says we are using fowl language(also not true) and accused us of flipping her off(we were pointing at the boy using our ball to prove that we weren't "breaking the rules"). Well that was not good enough for her, she shut us down and she was not changing her mind! We are very disappointed in this place. We were really enjoying ourselves until we were shut down unjustly! Oh well, now we know, never go back to that place. I wish we hadn't spent 50 bucks on beer, lane rental, and shoe rentals now. Live and learn. Please avoid this place they need to go out of business so another company can move in with better management!

Awful, awful, awful. Nasty rude staff

It's true that the beer and lanes are cheap here, but you get exactly what you pay for. I'm sure they're nice enough to league people, but don't bother if you're not in a league. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Came with a group of married, late 20something couples (let's be specific -- nicely dressed, not looking for trouble). There was an hour left until closing. This alley has a "rent a lane by the hour" price but the nasty-attitude counter lady (blonde, weathered, 45-ish) harangued us from the get-go, first insisting that our group would never finish a game in an hour, then baldly stating that she wouldn't give us a whole hour on the lane even if we paid for an hour, then spending several minutes griping because we wouldn't pay the higher "per-game" price. (Why would we pay more for the "per game" rate when you've already told us that we won't finish even one game??) From that point on, even though we were polite to her, nasty counter lady had it out for us because we wouldn't pay the higher rate.

Any female going here should know that they keep ALL bowling b alls below 12 lbs behind the counter and will only give out one per lane, no matter how many women/children are playing. Nasty counter lady, on her power trip, refused to give us anything other than a child-size 8-lb ball with tiny child-size finger holes (useless for a grown person). She then shut off our lane 15 minutes early for a variety of made-up reasons, including "you stole someone else's ball" (?!?). She also insisted that we "flipped her off" (?!?). Don't waste your money on this place (unless you're craving some rudeness in your life). By the way, the place is a total dump. Everything that could be in bad repair, is in bad repair. I'd give this zero stars if I could.
