Breakfast of No Taste. I had patronized this establishment before it was fair for dining -in, i commonly order breakfast. And so, I tried take out on Sep 17 to give to my loved one a breakfast in bed experience. We were not prepared for the lack of flavor from the meal. Order the hungery-man plate added grits and selected toast instead of biscuit & gravy to avoid the taste of Elmer's glue. The order was ready on time, a very large portion was given but it lacked any and all taste. The grits were soup like in firmness. The scrambled egg were in chucks, hash-brown were stuck together like mash potatoes, and the meats were over cooked. Most importantly, their was not taste of salt , pepper, or any seasoning in the food. The cost was cheap but the food was cheaply prepared. The drive to the location cost me time and money and so, I did not bother to pack up the un-eatten portion and return it. First and last time to order out. In fact, I certain that it was my last visit to the hospital cafeteria called Kelleys'.

Greasy country food with no flavor. We went there for breakfast and got turned off by how greasy the food looked but decided to give it a chance. The portions were indeed grossly over-sized and the presentation not great. You won't spend much at Kelley's, but you get what you pay for.

The eggs were tasteless and we had to add salt to the hash browns. Tabasco helped. The biscuits were warm but nothing special. The gravy was the only thing on the plate with any flavor. The service was very warm and friendly... even when I had to get one of the two waitresses, both engrossed in some interesting conversation between themselves.

Hard to beat the value. Yes, so the food is a little greasy and fried to a crisp at times, you just can't beat it really. I wouldn't recommend the place for dieters, but they are putting lighter fares on the menu these days. I still can't resist their hashbrowns, yum! They make a great breakfast, bar none, just try to get in there on the weekend mornings! It is just a darn good place to get a meal when you are pretty darn hungry! I pity the waitresses, they work their tails off! Maybe Kelley's should give them all a raise for doing such a great job?
