Best BBQ in Pearland. My husband and I eat here all the time. The line can get long sometimes, but its always worth the wait. The food is amazing. They have the best side dishes and deserts anywhere and the staff is always friendly.

Never disappointed. I've been here many times over the years. It's always great. What I love is that they have great sides along with the meats. A lot of BBQ places lack with their basic sides. Not Central Texas. I am always recognized and asked "where ya been?" . The setting is very homey. The owners are nice people. I recommend everyone try Central Texas.

True Pit Masters. I truly believe that foodcritiq123 is a competitor....I mean,come on...CTS-BBQ has been in pearland, and at the same location going on 42 years!!!!They opened thier doors the same year that Niel Armstrong set foot on the moon...thats a long time to still be in buisiness while serving nasty food!!

My family has been a customer of Central Tx Style BBQ since before I was born( I am 33 ).The meats are always cooked to perfection...nice and juicy..and full of flavor.They have so many side dishes that its hard to choose,and they are honestly..just as good as the meat!!!

My wife and myself can share a plate (they give big portions).Self serve on drinks and condiments (pickles,onions,peppers,bread,ect.)

They dont use electric smokers or pre-made food...it is always fresh.There employee's have worked for the Co. for many years...they are able to continually produce the same outstandig quality over and over.The hospitality,cleanliness,and atmosphere are un-matchable!!!

I have nothing to gain...just giving an honest review.

CENTRAL TEXAS STYLE BBQ IS MY FAVORITE BBQ RESTAURANT!!!

great bbq, great sides, great selection, and prices... what more can you say.

Major Letdown. I had read and heard a lot of hupla about this place, but what I experienced was not good ... period. The sausage tasted like it had been bought at the Kroger. The beans tasted no better than canned Bush Beans. The brisket was less than tender. The bbq sauce was thin and lacked richness. If the bbq had been "spicy," or "vinigar-y," or perhas even "sweet," I would be writing something different. It all just simply tasted "uneventful." .I hate to say this, but you'd be better off going to pappa's or perry's. Sorry people, but I just don't think these guys know a thing about bbq.

Something You Have to Experience. This place is excellent. If you are looking for a sitdown restaurant where someone serves you, though, go somewhere else. You order at the front and take your food to a table. Atmosphere more than makes up for it :) The food it indescribable!!! We go often for a reason.

Best barbeque EVER. This is hands down the best barbeque I've ever eaten. I highly recommend the brisket and the new potatoes. If you have a little extra room, go for the chocolate pudding cake or bread pudding for dessert.

If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, expect a long line. Parking can be tough at times too.

Best BBQ in Town. Best BBQ in town with all the trimmings. Great place for holiday/party catering needs. Central Texas has catered our holiday parties for over 10 yrs. When ever you drive down HWY 518 past Central Texas and smell the smokehouse your mouth waters!

best of all. about that patio umbrella thing who really cares its the food that matters not the peplethat run it they are as nice and friendly as possiblr ive been going there since 2000 thats 8 years of service from them ive loved every time their food is always cooked to perfection their turkey is my favorite i always get it im also a fan of their ribs bar-b-que sandwich everything there is good so try um if you havent they are the best

BBQ heaven. Central Texas STYLE BBQ has been owned and operated by one family for over 30 years in Pearland. I highly recommend this for a family style (young children, adults and older adults) as a wonderful eating establishment. BBQ experience...a little Cuban influence is abundant , as the owner is originally from Cuba...great food

and great fun....enjoy (and don't let the line scare you off, it moves fast and if you are really in a hurry
