The Scene
Located in Clear Lake between Houston and Galveston Island, the South Shore Harbour Resort isn't the sort of place for people afraid of water. In fact, water is the sole reason most travelers come here. For pleasure boating, sailing, sculling, power boating, bay fishing, sightseeing cruises, dinner cruises and deep-sea fishing charters.
The Details
The 250 rooms in this high-rise hotel overlook Clear Lake and a marina packed with beautiful sailboats. Decorated in tropical shades, many come with balconies and/or whirlpools. Five Marina Suites feature large sitting areas and wet bars, while two multi-level Penthouses cater to the yacht owners in the crowd. Along with its incomparable access to the water, South Shore offers 25,000 square feet of meeting space, making it a great place for conferences, retreats and weddings.
