“The atmosphere is comfortable!”
“Red River is a place I could take my parents or meet some old friends for a couple of beers and finger licking good ribs.”
“Good bbq (the best turkey).”
“Very kid friendly.”
“The price is reasonable!”
Pretty good. I'd say this is a pretty good place to eat. It is definitely better than most BBQ restaurants and I will go back here time and time again.
Excellent brisket and okra. easily best brisket in the area. awesome fried okra. fast service and a plate will cost you about 11$. better than the BBQ chains in the area. good portion sizes too.
Good, fast barbecue. Always reliable, fast, good barbecue. Guaranteed to be more than one should eat in a sitting. And our son loves the cornbread. The only thing that prevents us from going more frequently are what we've termed "the interrogation lights" - all of the lights & ceiling fan lights turned on in the place turns out to be very bright and harsh - enough to dissuade us from sitting under them too often. Otherwise, great!
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Smoked barbecue, grilled entrees, sandwiches and a kid's menu keep locals coming back for homemade dishes.
Best BBQ is in Clear Lake!. Having tried brisket and BBQ in Austin, San Antonio, Houston - - the best is here in Clear Lake! No need for a road trip - food served promptly, hot and staff is always pleasant, cheery and helpful.
REAL TX BBQ. Seriously the best BBQ, I can ever remember eating. The flavor is real TX style smoke. The ribs & brisket were to DIE for. I definitely did not leave hungry since I could not resist the coconut pie! I also loved the fried okra and the stuffed baked potato, with the chicken! I literally have not eaten BBQ anywhere else since I found Red River!
Lick My Lips Good.
When I hear the word afciando, I think robust appetite and the belly to prove it. While I do not consider myself to possess either, I do consider myself a good judge of good grub.
Red River is a place I could take my parents or meet some old friends for a couple of beers and finger licking good ribs. I think WASTE OF TIME is probably the creator of dry ribs, bland potato salad and those disgustingly sweet, overly fat beans otherwise known as Bush's Baked Beans.
The turkey is juicy and thick, because I did not stop at Subway for a turkey sandwhich. It is smoked and cut right off the breast the way a BBQ restaurant should serve it. If you have not tried Red River, you don't know what you're missing.
best i have found.
The food is consistant and tastefull!
The atmosphere is comfortable!
The service is prompt!
The price is reasonable!
The parking is easy!
Great BBQ. You don't leave hungry. Great food and plenty to eat. The ribs are great and brisket tender. The beans and potato salad are made fresh daily. Might be the best sauce I have had. The sourdough buns make a great sandwich.
