Jill's saved the day!.
I originally bought my dress at Ventura's Bridal (awful, do not do it!!!). 23 days before my wedding, Ventura's tells me (2 hours before my fitting appointment, no less) that my dress is not even in America. The owner of the company ends up yelling at me and telling me that they are really "overbooked" and "cannot guarentee my alterations would be done on time." In a panic, I went to Jill's.
They had literally one week to alter my dress. Not only did they do a perfect job, they get it done EARLY! Diane and her team are the most helpful, caring people. There was no reason they needed to care about me more than Ventura's, considering all my money went to the latter. However, they are the epitome of customer service. Incredible.

A Solid Family Business.
I found a dress in a shop in another city, and Jill's, which is close to home, carried that line. The shop is small - but the selection is giant for wedding dresses, party dresses, pageants, mother of the bride. On my second visit (first time - the owner was away) I ordered a Raylia dress through them. Even with Hurricane Ike, the dress came in a couple of weeks before they expected. When I returned for alterations, the seamstress was an hour late, but the owners reassured me with a nice glass of wine. The alterations were complete on time. When I returned, i tried on the dress - it fit great - and left with a complimentary garment bag and a gift. Overall, it's a family business. Don't get turned off by the size of the shop. The service was personal.
