Best Atmosphere Around. Great food BBQ to Texican Favorites. Neighbor hood restrauant/bar. Friendly staff and clients. Best jalopeno sausage on the plant. Mike the owner's custom recipe. Live music and jam's every week. Great hang out to see some of Houston top musical talent. Just a cool laid back place. Everyone feels welcome. If you haven't beeen there you need to go check it out.

Best Sausage in the Galaxy. Hoppie's sausage transcends the boundaries of human language. If you try to describe it, a giant hot-link falls out of the sky and smacks you square across the kisser. It's so good it'll make you demand your money back from any other establishment you've ever bought sausage from before. Hoppie's sausage is so scrumdiddliyumptious it'll make you question your sexuality as thoughts of alternative uses for sausage spontaneously flash through your mind: don't worry, this is normal, you're not a sausage-sexual. But if you were, you'd be lobbying congress to legalize sausage-sexual marriage. Only thing is, you'd have to be polygamous because I think there's three different flavors, all hand-packed by the sausage god himself. I pour milk in a bowl of sliced sausage for breakfast instead of cheerios. What did you have for breakfast?

Sausage & Ribs Rock and Roll. Maybe its the old Rock and Roll posters that adore the wall. Maybe it is the every present music that fill the air. No it is the darn good BBQ!

BBQ with a Cajun Flair

Hoppies makes their own sausage that is some of the best I have ever tasted.

There BBQ sauce is not the standard thick, sweet variety. It is more a tangy with a little bite.

Do not go to Hoppies without trying the Gumbo or Sausage. And say Hello to Mike!
