Wonderful Wedding. I had my wedding on the Sapphire Princess in August of 2010. I have no complaints on any of the process from the contract all the way to the departure of the yacht. Everything that was promised or I asked for was honored by this company. Yes the decoration where dated they had to offer but I had already planned on using my own decoration anyway. My decoration where delivered to the yacht and they took care of the rest and it was simply beautiful. The food was really good. My wedding cake and groom cake where excellent. My wedding coordinator lined out everything and did her job to the best of her ability. We where very pleased with her and she was very professional.Our DJ played all request and followed the directions that where given to him prior to the wedding. Everything went as scheduled with no problems and we all had a wonderful time. My photos and video came out perfect. I still get compliments on how lovely the pics of the wedding was and how professional our wedding video is. I see a lot of bad reviews of this company so I felt the need to share my experience with this company. We where treated very well by this company and we will be planning to have our anniversary party aboard the Sapphire Princess. I cant speak for anyone else on there experiences but I know the experience I had with this company was a great one and I will continue to do business with them.

Stay Away!!!!. Hate to have even given this company 1 star but I had to. First let me begin with the ships they are so outdated they need to start investing some of the money they get back on to those old ships, the decor is ridiculous. They pretty much tell you what they want your wedding to be like. The staff is very rude not to mention Captain Jhon he is far from being a professional business man . To make this short I book with them but I had to cancel 6 months before my event things happened. Well I had put a $1,700 deposit I only got $300 back. Be really careful when you sign the contract if you decide to still use thier services they know how to keep what doesn't belong to them. I really hope that you take your money els where when I chose this company I read the horrible reviews and chose to ignore them. I'm not one to take the time and write one but I don't want the captain and his so call professional team to take advantage of someone els. Stay away their are lots of companies that know how to take care of thier customers. And this is Not one of them. Hope this helps!

Services On Royal Princess. Hey guys I must say I am afraid of water but got on the boat anyway. It was the best experience I have ever had. The captain, food, drinks, DJ was all awesome.

I am a black female and they were NOT AT ALLL PREJUDICE. I give them 5 stars and wish I ncould add a few more stars on to it.

Great Birthday Surprise. We held a surprise party for my husband's birthday aboard the Enchantment on October 22, 2011. I would recommend this cruise for any small family gathering. The food was great, the servers and bartender were efficient and patient and the cruise was awesome. My stepdaughter is in a wheelchair and the Enchantment was a perfect choice to meet her needs.

Perfect Wedding Venue. We held my daughter's wedding aboard the Royal Princess on October 15th and it truly was a magical experience! Every detail was attended to and we were very satisfied with every aspect. The wedding coordinator was wonderful to work with and answered every question. Yes, they do have a lot of rules but they are not unreasonable and if you read the information they give you, you will not have any problem.

The food and the cake were yummy. The staff were all friendly and took care of everyone's needs. The bartender was great and kept up with all requests. DJ Mark was fantastic and his attention to detail was remarkable!

We had family from 7 different states and they were all impressed and amazed at the wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Majestic Ventures. It was a beautiful night and a beautiful wedding.

I WISH I COULD PUT 0 STARS!! THE WORST YACHT SERVICE EVER. THEIR YACHT EXPERIENCE WAS SO HORRIBLE...ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT WHILE I WAS ON IT WAS WRITING REVIEWS TO WARN EVERYONE ABOUT IT.

I haven't written an online review on any place before in my life! But after this experience... I even wrote a blog of how horrible it was. The biggest waste of money!

Trust me when I say the 2 positive reviews on here must have been written by Majestic Ventures Inc.

IF YOU GET SCREWED OVER BY THESE PEOPLE AFTER READING THESE BAD REVIEWS. YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND YOU DESERVE IT.

Learn from others mistakes DON'T attempt it.

I wouldn't refer this service to my worst enemy. It was horrible from the get go. Apart from the OLD outdated yacht they supply, they lie and find gimmicks to get additional money from you. AND if you are anyone with color, or you plan on bringing a group of minorities, don't try it. They are as RACIST as it gets in this day and age!

Star Fleet Yacht Rentals in Kemah or Staying at home in your bed and saving yourself some money and a headache is a better option.

MOST FUN WEDDING EVER!!! IT WAS AWESOME. I was just married on the Sapphire Princess Yacht through Majestic Ventures in June of 2011. My wedding was truly a blast. I have been planning for months and except for a few small hiccups ( which happen at anyone's wedding) everything went very smooth and was very organized. I noticed some other reviews were kind of bad and I almost didnt book them because of that but I am glad I followed my gut and did book them.

It was organized, the prices were fair and they never charged me more or less than what they originally said they would.

The coordinator was nice, and calm and kept the flow of the wedding going great. There was tons of staff on the boat.

Someone mentioned it being short staffed in their review and I did not experience that all. I do agree that it seemed like the staff took a long time to set up the inside dining area, but my guests were upstairs drinking and talking and all I heard was laughter! So I figured, ok, if they are cool with it, than so am I. It was not a problem.

The bartender handled the 100 guests with professionalism and ease, and everyone had a drink in their hands at all times. I experienced no trouble with food, or drinks,

The cake was SO WONDERFUL. Everyone boasted about how good the cake was and how much they loved the food. You will not have to worry about quality of food or cake if you book with Majestic. I was very pleased with it.

It was such a great day for me. My friends and family are still going on and on about the big day and how they felt like they were on a vacation during the yacht wedding.

If you have any reservations about using Majestic Ventures, please sweep them aside. Just make sure to do your due diligence while booking your package, read all the fine print and ask a lot of questions... Anyone who is feeling like they were cheated or swindled just didnt take the time to really look at the paperwork.

Any place you hold a wedding is out to make money and of course they are going to try to get all they can from you, they are a business, after all. I was very ademant about asking them a ton of questions and getting copies of everything, so therefore I was treated fairly and there were no surprises. I would feel like you would need to do to this with any venue you deal with. They all have their hidden charges and fees.

I have no regrets, except for I would have added an extra hour because I didnt want to leave when it was over.

They increased the price after I paid the deposit. Horrible~!

Their salesperson gave us the proposal. We accepted the price and paid the deposit. They charged from our bank account. And the next day, the salesperson contacted us and said he made a mistake. We received a whole new proposal with 2.3k increase of the price!!!

That is B*S. I tried to contact the salesperson, but ended up to talk to the captain. The captain was so rude that I made my decision to cancel everything immediately. He didn't even try to solve the problem. He was forcing me to accept the 10k price.

This company is very suspicious. DON'T have business with them!!

Be Warned!. A Majestic Ventures wedding is a complete disaster! I discourage anyone from dealing with the owner of this operation. Although, I am sure that most guests had a nice time, the bride and the groom who paid for the event did not. The venue’s setting is nice, however, the package promised was a complete joke. This was the most unorganized affair that I have ever been part of. In many ways, I feel a breach of contract was performed by Majestic Ventures. Sail time was compromised by the standup comedy of the captain going over the rules. She was likeable, but, let’s shoot straight, another savings by Majestic Ventures. This event was COMPLETELY understaffed. Our wedding coordinator, who was a very important part of the package and marketed strongly by the owner was forced to be a waitress instead of a coordinator because of the lack of staffing. My wife and I were forced to become the co-coordinators. Reception time was compromised, at least, 30 minutes to set the first floor up for dinning, mostly due to the lack of staffing and our music selections. It seems that Majestic Venture’s staff enjoyed our music so much, that they decided to dance instead of setting the tables up. The Champagne toast, did not take place for the guests as contracted. At 25.00 a bottle, a little extra profit. We had to cut our own cake. Few of the planned events took place and the biggest faux pas was that our guests were to be lined up along the pier so we could thank all of them and say good bye. IT WAS MENTIONED THAT IT WAS MAJESTIC VENTURES POLICY THAT THE BRIDE AND GROOM LEAVE FIRST! ALWAYS, yet you let our guests escape and left us to literally clean up our own mess. Majestic Ventures is very polished in their dealings with the customers in terms of negotiations, always having the answer that best suits Majestic Ventures but delivers nothing in the end. Once payment was received, the service stops. All future customers should know about the total package, not the fairytale that is so eloquently marketed. A primary example of the integrity of Majestic Ventures is marketing the boat to a perspective client on our wedding day, minutes before our guests are to board, as my wife is exposed and getting ready for the wedding upstairs. A despicable act of selfishness and extremely unprofessional. I have only touched on my degree of unhappiness with this venue.



Bottom line………..No bride will ever be happy with this degree of service and ethics. Majestic Ventures provides a pretty setting for a wedding, but with all the bickering and savings that this establishment insists on, no setting can ever overcome the damage done.

Royal Princess Yacht. My company had arranged for a company anniversary party where we were going to be flying people in from around the state. The original yacht we had booked through another company fell through - twice - and Majestic Ventures came to the rescue with only two weeks to go before the event.

The staff was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and all of the arrangements were made to our specifications. We were met at the hotel by a crew member and taken down to the yacht, which was beautiful, spacious enough for 90 of us, and well stocked with all of our requirements. From Captain Christina down to Dave the Bartender and Lisa the DJ, the staff was all professional, very friendly, and accommodating.

The music was great (we danced on the deck and inside for four hours!), the food was wonderful, and everyone had a spectacular time!! We had plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat, the door prize giveaways went great with the coordination of the sound system, and most all of us were out on the deck dancing it up after dinner was over.

Captain John and Majestic Ventures made sure our event went off without a hitch. We will definitely call them again when we plan another yacht party!!
