“Great variety, party atmosphere or quiet place, whichever you choose.”
“Terrible service even while sitting at the bar.”
“terrible service and very small portions at a high price”
Refreshing to see some hard work.. I would guess Mitch was attending to five or more tables, but I scarcely waited 15 seconds for a drink refill. The service was over all satisfactory, and the food was as well.
Talk about Motezuma's Revenge!!!. I am here for wine fest. Never again!!!! Worst service I have ever had. The bar staff was like the cast from the movie , "The Road Warrior". Mel Gibson would have had trouble with these guys. The food was probably worst than Taco Bell or Jack- in -the Box. Actually, Taco Bell would be a 5 star restaurant next to Cadillac Bar. After the service at Cadillac, I kind of felt like I had been to "Misfit Island" from the Christmas classic , "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer." Even Santa Claus didn't have that many misfit toys.....
Can't rate the food - never served!!!.
On Monday August 23, 2010 I took my grandson to Kemah Boardwalk to enjoy the day with him, when we got hungry we went to Cadillac Bar around 2:00pm for a late lunch. Boy, were we looking forward to it, however, we went in and waited at the hostess stand for about 20 minutes to be seated, the hostess was not friendly and acted as if we disturbed her break. She took us to a table that obviously did not have a waiter waiting on it because we sat there for more than 10 minutes without being acknowledged. So we left. I can't say how the food was, but I can say the service was awful. Won't go there again and will tell all my friends not to go there.

Hot n' Spicy. I love the large super nachos here. They come with beef, beens, cheese, plenty of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo sauce. The Laredo cheese enchiladas are also really good here. Plus you have the added benefit of watching the boats cruise thru the Kemah harbor from your seaside table. Great combination, in my book. ......I used to be skeptical of Landry's-owned establishments, but they have really made a 180 degree turn around with the service at their restaurants at the Kemah Boardwalk lately. Good going, Landry's.
terrible service and very small portions at a high price. Terrible service even while sitting at the bar. Mid day and no one eating and still service was horrible. $13 for nachos and only had 6 chips on a plate. They didn't taste bad but at $2 per chip they should have been the best ever. I will never go back and I live here. What a way to welcome out of towners!!!!! There are too many great places to eat in the Houston region to be taken advantage of with high prices for tiny portions and to top it off with a bartender/server that was too busy playing behind the bar to take care of the 3 customers sitting there. Go anywhere but here.
Cold Beer. Funny Waiters.. Loved the mexican patio seating. Food was average, drinks were great. The band we saw was good too. The waiter was so nice and funny. No problems here.
Where the grown-ups go to party on the Kemah Boardwalk..
In Short
The Cadillac Bar's Tex-Mex menu includes combination plates, enchiladas and fajitas. Two distinct areas provide diners with varied entertainment options. Sit in the relatively quiet downstairs bar for a great view of the Bay and Boardwalk people watching. Upstairs is a little more chaotic with a distinct party atmosphere and a stage for live bands. Tightly packed tables surround a small dance space while the bar does a brisk business in frozen margaritas.
