“wort customer service of any salon i've attended, tasteless atmosphere”
“Bottom line is this Salon is nothing special and the customer service is not good.”
“Not worth the expensive price.”
Best Salon on the Island for Years. LuLu has been doing my hair for 2 years, she truely is the best on the Island. Leslie, the manager, is always helpful and friendly. It is always fun to see everyone there. Love the building!
Thanks for the memories.
Thank you to everyone who was a part of my sister's bridal experience. You all are amazing and we all enjoyed our experience at LuLu's. The wedding was beautiful and the girls loved being and sharing this day with you. Thanks again for everything.

A Memorial Wedding Day.
I recently got married in Galveston and LuLu's provided the best service and awesome hair styles for my wedding party of 12. I had planned for a year did my research to find this salon and it's true they were the best.
Leslie, the manager worked very hard to book 2 days of beauty services for 12 people. We had manicures, pedicure, facials, massages and hair styles and had a great time. Kudos to LuLu's
Mediocre Salon with Terrible Customer Service.
Bottom line is this Salon is nothing special and the customer service is not good. I only went because it is on Galveston island and had OK reviews.
My most recent experience is as follows: I requested an appointment for over 200 dollars in services via email .
Reception emailed back with availability and then I emailed back to confirm.
When I arrived, the receptionist claimed to never receive the email confirming, though they also had my phone number as an additional means of confirmation
The staff was rude and unaccomodating. I showed the receptionist the emails and she remained unapologetic. I could have easily been pacified with a later appointment and a sincere apology.
Good service can take an average salon and make it good. In Lulu's case their customer service takes what is an OK salon and makes it a total waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and drive off the island.
Do not waste time and money, you will be disappointed!. Not worth the expensive price. The owners of this place think that they run a fine or upscale salon. This is the NOT the case. They CHARGE you like an upscale spa, but you can do a better job on yourself, or go to a supercuts or some small nail salon and get better SERVICE, PRICES, and results. Staff is unprofessional, managers are unwilling to remedy unhappy customers. I would never recommend a friend (or enemy for that matter) to go to this overpriced joke of a salon. I completely agree with the above comment of how the salon is going downhill!
Love My Hair!. I love the haircuts I get from Casey at Lulu's. I moved back to Galveston after living in Houston for 10 years, and Casey cuts my hair as well as or better than the guy I'd been getting my haircuts from in Houston. The price is more reasonable too. The people behind the counter are always friendly without being intrusive and too overly pushy-perky. I'd recommend this salon to anyone.
Lulu's stylist helped carve future. I used to get my hair done by Lisa until I moved to Colorado a year ago. She always explained very clearly what she was doing. I am now 22 and started going to her when I was 12. If it wasn't for her passion in the industry, I probably wouldn't have followed my dream to become a hair stylist. I will graduate from cosmetology school in two months. I learned a lot from her about being customer friendly, patient, and a good listener. The entire staff was always very helpful. Prices are not bad considering what people pay here in Denver.
Going downhill....
I've been going to Lulu's for several years now to get my haircut and nails done. In the beginning it was the only decent place on the island; however, over the years the service, friendliness, and reliability has gone downhill. The staff isn't as helpful as they used to be and certainly aren't familiar with the phrase: "The customer is always right." I guess its the simple things I miss about customer service.
So after several disappointments I've started to go to La Moda Salon & Day Spa near downtown. I've been very happy with the services there and would recommend this salon to everyone.
Been going there for years.... Lulu's is a place I always come back to and get my haircut. I live in Houston now, but I will drive all the way home (my family still lives on the island) just to get my haircut by Lisa. She's always done a great job and the prices are much better than in the Houston area. The staff is friendly and always helpful. I've been a customer for over 10 years and I have had consistant and reliable service. I would highly recommend Lulu's to anyone new to the area.
wort customer service of any salon i've attended, tasteless atmosphere. I was treated very poorly not only by the staff but the manager as well. I purchased a gift certificate and had several questions about it. They were unhelpful at first, placed me on hold, hung up on me, and then refused to return my phone calls. When I had a massage at Lulu's the massage therapist poured aromatherapy in my eyes and nose on accident - nothing was offered to make up for this mistake...not even an appropriate apology!!!! Lulu's is a sorry excuse for a salon indicated by its staff as well as the shoddy barn-like structure that they call their building.
