Worst service ever encountered. We have been a regular customer until now. This night we ordered our pizza as a pick up but when I arrived they couldn't find the pizza. I heard the employees say the pizza was sent out with the delivery guy. When I asked they said it was being prepared. This was 40 minutes after we ordered. I was 10 minutes late to pick it up. After 15 minutes, they bring me a pizza. I opened the box and picked up a slightly warm, not hot, pizza. I told the cashier that I wanted to speak with the manager, who was her "mom". Mom said, and I could hear her, that she was too busy to come out. I told the cashier that I wanted a new pizza as I was sure this was not just prepared and believed they had made a mistake. Twenty minutes later I was given a hot pizza, no discount, no offer of a drink while waiting 35 minutes for a pizza that was ordered 40 minutes before I arrived. I will never return. When they realized my pizza went out with the delivery person they should have said so, offered me a coffee and prepared a fresh pizza. That I could deal with. A manager, owner that will not speak to a dissatisfied customer is unprofessional and rude.

Bad food, bad service, waste of money. I read the reviews which were mostly positive so I decided to give it a try. I should have noted that all the positive reviews were from a couple of years ago. This place has definitely gone down hill if it was ever good to begin with. My first sign should have been that there wasn't a Single car in the lot. I ordered cheese ravioli and i am POSITIVE it was ragu. Couldn't even eat it. The waitress was not attentive even though we were her only table. She was sitting at a neighboring table eating pizza every time we looked around for her. At the end she knew we were unhappy so decided not to ask us how everything was. Terrible experience.

Best pizza next to New York City. As a native New Yorker onre thing I really miss is the pizza and Gino's is the closest I've found. And thier other dishes are very good as well and the sauce is like homemade being an Italian Amerian and growing in the Bronx I am kind of a little picky when it comes to sauce no can beat my Grandma's. And the Canollies are fabulous.

Forget the serivce; go for the sauce. We have driven by Gino's often since buying our Galveston home six years ago, but never gave it a try. We finally stopped in for dinner last night.

The restaurant is casual and cozy. The customers seemed to be a mix of touists and locals. The service is ok, mainly young folks who don't seem very experienced. There is a bit of a wait for dinner, but it is well worth it. The house salad was pretty typical lettuce with a tasty garlicky dressing. Our pasta were fantastic with a wonderful homemade sauce. He enjoyed spaghetti and sausage. I had an abundant portion of eggplant parmesian which was thin and breaded just the way I like. We will definitely be back to dine in or takeout.

The only drawback -- constant phones ringing during our meal between the estabslishment phone for take out orders and the patrons cell phones with various intrusiive ringtones. Come on , people! Vibrate mode, please.

Bottom line: forget about the service -- go for the sauce.

Get some manners, Lady!. I called to inquire about buying a tira misu cake for my husband's birthday and was treated very rudely by the lady on the phone. As most people would do before driving 45 miles to pick up a cake, I asked the hours of operation and price of the cake. The lady was very short and impatient with my questions and asked "what is this all about?" in a very rude tone, as if I was asking her personal information. How about a little customer service....after all, I am a paying customer that is willing to drive to Galveston for a little piece of cake. Scratch that...I WAS a paying customer. Just like the lady on the phone, I too have a big mouth and plan to tell everyone how I was treated.

Bad management/customer service. The owner and the waitress were incredibly rude and unwilling to provide the kind of service that customers coming to that restaurant deserve. They were unwilling to compromise when it was their mistake with the food item. It's not worth it to spend your hard earned money there.
