Best of Galveston. I have had had my hair done, had facials, had manicures & pedicures.... had color work... had massages.... for over ten years I have been coming to La Moda because LaModa is the best of Galveston!

Great Salon. I love this place. I have been going to La Moda for several years now and have never had a bad appointment. I have found all the stylists to bend over backwards to accomodate any request that I or any of my friends have ever made.

very dirty. salon is not clean or kept up. They charge like they are an upper end salon, but the salon is more like a lower end salon at best.

Not very professional. I went to this place in hopes to find a hairstylist that could do my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. I took a picture of exactly what I wanted and not one time did the stylist get it right. All I wanted was a very sophisticated low bun, and in turn I got a french twist, a bun that was HUGE, and then finally the last and 3rd time a hair style that I can't explain. It's like she didn't even look at the picture that I brought. When I asked her to please redo it, she acted very displeased and told me I was the only bride that had made her redo the hair. My bridesmaids took pictures as well, and their hair turned out NOTHING like the pictures. We are all in our late 20's and 30's. We wanted to look sophisticated and elegant, not like we were going to a High School Prom. I was Very displeased. Cute place, but not happy at all with what I paid for.

Worst experience ever. I came in for an all over blond color treatment with lowlights, and left with slightly pink hair. My stylist knew I was disappointed, but was in a hurry to leave with her co-worker for an after work event.
