Complimentary gourmet cuisine highlights a stay in this beautiful Victorian home.. The Scene This spacious, three-story Queen Anne home in Galveston's historic East End was built in 1893 and has been operating as a family owned B&B since 1980. It has just three rooms, all decorated with beautiful antiques, but food is what makes this spot so special. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a tray of cheese, fruit, finger sandwiches and wine. Each morning, you'll wake up to freshly ground coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice outside your door. Guests are also treated to dinner, which is a choice of gumbo or shrimp scampi.
The Details The smallest of the three rooms is the Treetop Nursery located on the third floor. You'll have to share a bathroom, but the room connects to a wrap-around porch. The Umbrella Room is on the dainty side with lavender, lace and frills throughout. In the much larger Master Suite, you'll find an Oriental rug, fireplace, sitting area and private bath.
