Editorial Review for A Victorian Bed & Breakfast Inn – by Andrew Edmonson
The Scene
Built in 1899, this Italianate mansion boasts two honors: It's listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it's Galveston's largest bed-and-breakfast, with facilities to accommodate 16 guests. Located on a tree-lined street, the interior of the mansion is as beautiful as its exterior. The rooms are homey and comfortable. The inn is centrally located: five blocks from the Galveston Opera House and a half-mile from both the Strand District and the beaches.
The Amenities
Three suites all have private baths, while the king-size guest rooms share a hallway bathroom. Whether you're looking for multiple bedrooms, your own veranda or a private entryway, the suites can accommodate. The king rooms are all beautifully appointed with Tiffany lamps and brass beds. A full buffet breakfast is served every morning from 8am to 10am.
