Really Turned a corner

I was at Poor Michael?s a few years back and had a good time, but man has it changed. Some things are still the same like the coldest beer and cheapest drinks in Galveston but the rest is 110% better. The place has been remodeled, it has a new floor, rich woods with some great pictures hanging up, all that sheet metal is gone, the staff was great and very attentive and overall great feel. Before it was kind of a dive but now it really feels like a great place to hang out in. The owner has a new attitude and the music line up was good, everybody should give this place a chance!

• Pros: Drinks were good and cheap, great juke box and lots of women!
• Cons: Mens room has a line and gets crowded get there early.

The management is ..well funny. The sound is great. It is supposed to be a blues bar. Occasionally it is. A fun place regardless. Great jukebox.
