In Short – Anchored by two Dillard's department stores, Mervyn's, Sears and Foley's, Baybrook Mall is perennially packed with area teens and avid shoppers. Other featured shops in the sprawling single-level mall include Aveda, Origins, the Toni & Guy salon, Williams-Sonoma, Banana Republic, American Eagle Outfitters and the Build-A-Bear Workshop. The food court has a variety of fast-food options, or stop into Luby's for a sit-down meal.

Don't go to Baybrook Mall!! No Security!!
by scooter2008
Having had my truck broken into while at this mall and then being lied to by the security officer seals the deal on this mall. Filed a report with mall security after a having a dvd/navigation/radio jerked out of my dash, broken door handle, door lock, ripped seat, broken dash, dented door. Security officer said once we have police report # they could give us the information recorded on the security camera. One day later called security office and mall office to supply police report #, we were told the mall has absolutely no security cameras on the parking lots. The mall stated that their security officers make the parking lot safe (their was an officer 2 rows over and never saw a thing). Can't blame me for never returning to the Baybrook mall, if having your vehicle damaged isn't bad enough... try being lied to by security, the ones you think keep you SAFE!... FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY!!!! Even Wal-Mart has cameras! Terrible Horrible Experience!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Mall doesn't have any security cameras!!!

I love this store but my last visit was so unpleasant i think i'll never return. i needed help looking for a size 13 jeans and so i asked one of the employees for her help.. she told me they didnt carry a size 13 which is untrue because i have bought that size from there before. after telling her that they do carry a 13 she got an attitude and pretended to look.. she was so unhelpful i left the store.
aveda what happened????????????

aveda @ this mall used to be a joy to visit ; however its now become a dark corner that gets me and several of my clients to turn our heads when we walk by. There was once a glow that engulfed this store now the energy has dicsenagrated, its just blank.
Poor Sears Warrantee Customer Serice
by brian77546
I bought a refrigerator from Sears however at the Baybrook Mall location in Friendswood, TX. My 2003 model refrigerator went out on Aug. 5th. A Sears service rep. came to my house, said that he fixed the problem and left. The problem was not fixed so 2 days later on the 9th a different service rep. came out and told me the compressor went out. He said that he would order a new compressor and have it delivered to my house. Therefore, when it arrives to call Sears and someone will come out to install it. I called Sears on Wed. Aug. 16th since it had not arrived yet. Sears told me that it has not been shipped yet. As of today, Fri. Aug. 18th it still has not arrived. Since Aug. 5th my family have had to eat each meal out and have a cooler with store bought ice in my kitchen. This is the service I have received from Searss warrantee department. Before buying an appliance or a warrantee package from Sears please ask yourself if you or your family would want this inconvenience?
- Pros: Hopefully one day Sears will correct the problem
- Cons: 2 weeks my family has gone without a refrigerator and eating each meal out.
Great shops, massive crowds

I grew up in the Clear Lake area and have gone back to visit several times over the past few years. The area around this mall has grown so much that Baybrook seems incapable of accommodating it - I am very impressed with the wide selection of stores at this very suburban mall; it's got better stores than any other mall outside of the Loop I've seen, but it is also the most congested mall I've ever had the misfortune of fighting though on a Saturday. It really is almost impossible to shop during peak traffic times - it's honestly worse than the Galleria. I've heard that Pearland is planning a large mall sometime in the near future - and that's a good thing, as this area sorely needs it.
- Pros: Selection, Variety
- Cons: Crowds, Parking
