BAD HAIR. I recently got a hair cut from one of their stylists, I normally wear my hair in an angled bob with layers to give it volume -- the stylist (Terry) barely looked at the picture I brought and didn't cut my hair ANYTHING like the picture!! My hair was hacked! It looked like a mullet -- not to mention when I got home I noticed the 1/2 inch long pieces that were longer than the rest of my hair -- I had to cut them myself! I really thought that if I fixed it myself it might be salvageable -- but when I washed and fixed it, it only looked WORSE! The next day I went to a different salon to see if it could be helped -- the stylist couldn't believe what my hair looked like. The layers looked like lines in the back of my head and for someone, like myself, that has thin/fine hair, the cut was atrocious! The new stylist couldn't even make it look right, she could only try and shape it up, but with the crazy layers, she would have to cut my hair OFF basically to make it look completely normal. There is no way I left Mise En Pli without this chic knowing something didn't look right! Horrible. When I tried getting a hold of them to explain the problem, they have no manager working on a daily basis to speak to, and they don't return your e-mails. Not good business and won't reimburse the money they charged me to destroy my hair. I will never go back there again! Maybe the only way to get good service is if you are a long time customer or have a simple hair cut. Ugh.
