The two levels of both men's and women's clothing curated from the 30s to the 80s are a goldmine for stylish, young hipsters. Prices range from high to low but a little digging will always yields worthwhile purchases from kiss clasp purses to the perfect cowboy boots.
Also in the Heights along 19th street, Replay is a great place to search for vintage prints both cheesy and classy. There are lots of women's accessories to be found, like cowboy boots and various bright colored baubles, and the staff is very friendly.
This non-profit resale shop is an antique in itself, having been around since 1962, and a local favorite vintage shop in Houston. The inside is a maze of rooms, all crammed with curious objects. The most robust department is home goods and furniture but a few nice consignment clothing items and a case of glittering costume jewelry can be found as well.
It's not quite so much about digging at this cheerful vintage boutique, and it's certainly not about thrift. The beautiful, well-maintained pieces that line the walls of Cheeky Vintage will set you back a few hundred dollars but you'll come out looking as chic as Audrey Hepburn.
Don't let the shabby strip mall exterior fool you; the interior of this resale boutique is chic and owner Fatou Fall acquires top designer brands. Vintage usually only means a few seasons old here and while well discounted, don't expect to find your Chanel for cheap.
