It is both a blessing and a curse that there are so many happy hours in Houston. Drink deals between 4pm-7pm are pretty much a given at all bars these days, but asking some tough questions (?How can I work a cheap dinner out of this?? and ?Where do all the babes hang out??) helps with the narrowing down process. We'll keep updating this list of some of the more worthwhile happy hours in Houston.

Even if you're seriously light in the wallet, you can still afford to throw down here. Appetizers like vegetable tempura, spicy salmon rolls and edamame are two-for-one between 4pm-7pm, making it one of the cheapest happy hours in Houston.
Branchwater brings in the beautiful people with its sexy, dimly-lit tavern vibe and seriously amazing happy hour deals. Duck fat popcorn ($3) and Reuben sliders ($1) pair well with the bar's amazing American whiskey list.
For years, Benjy's has held on to its title as one of the best happy hours in Houston in the hearts and minds of many, due as much to its high energy singles crowd as to its well-executed fruity cocktails.
Newly installed in the Houston Pavilions, this wine bar not only rocks happy hour deals like $3 house wines and $1 domestics, it also hosts a free wine tasting every Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm.
This loveable pub in Rice Village gets top scores for its variety of well-poured craft brews and big shady patio. Every Wednesday is Logo Pint Night, which means that if you buy the featured beer, you get to take home the pint glass it comes in.
Richmond Arms also has Logo Pint Night every Tuesday, which makes double-tasking your passion for both glassware and sports super easy.
Every Tuesday night, 13 pairs up with venerable local baker Jodycakes to present a cupcake and wine pairing for $10. The flavors and combinations change every week so you and your girlfriends will want to turn it into a tradition.
The happy hour at this mahogany-lined steakhouse is famous for bargain food deals, but what makes the $2.95 half-pound burger and $2 bruschetta even better is that a second round happy hour starts up again at 9pm.
