Whether you love it or hate it, there's no avoiding it. Valentine's Day is here again. There is a silver lining to this heart-shaped cloud though: There are plenty of special dinners and drink deals to take advantage of when you're celebrating with your loved one. We'll keep adding events as we hear about them, so check back often.

Let's be honest, the French are damn sexy. Co-opt a little of their panache on Valentine's Day with a classic, three-course Provencal meal. Split a lovers' Chateaubriand and a honey-and-lavender creme brulee for $58 per person, not including wine.
This new downtown gastropub has both style and romance, thanks to the beautiful pin lights and chandelier hanging over the dining room. There will be two reservation-only seatings at 7pm and 8:45pm for the $75-per-person, three-course dinner. A dessert spread including a chocolate fondue fountain will be set up on the restaurant's second floor.
Not having a date on Valentine's Day isn't the end of the world, especially when it means you're free to bid on one of the cuties in the Teach for America date auction. Each auctionee will be part of an entire date package (think paid dinners and sporting events) that starts at $50 and benefits TFA. Registration starts at 7pm, February 13 and the auction begins at 8pm.
Of course, this Montrose dance mecca is having a party--when is it not? DJ Manny Lehman will be spinning at the Red Party on Saturday, February 13 and red attire is encouraged. Tickets are $15 presale at South Beach, M2M Fashion and JR's Bar 7 Grill or $20 at the door. Bring a hottie or meet a new one, but prepare to get sweaty.
All the single ladies and gents can stop by the Lobby Lounge at the Four Seasons for their Singles' Mingle on Saturday from 6pm to 10pm. There will be live entertainment and signature cocktails with salacious names. Alternatively, all the mommas who can buy their own bottles can have a gal pal night at Quattro where the "Sex and the City" movie will be playing while diners enjoy a four-course meal for $70. Add on an overnight stay for a package deal.
Pass on the chalky message hearts this year and flirt via cupcake instead. Starting on February 10, Crave will be topping strawberry, red velvet and chocolate mousse cupcakes with an "I Crave You" button. Ordering ahead is recommended.
Sitting at your table in the breathtaking interior of this trendy, just-opened sushi house, you can be pleased that you chose the right location for impressing your date. The special Valentine's menu is six courses including sushi, robata and hearty entrees (we recommend the miso cod) ranging from $52-$80 per person.
